Bad article! I mean didn't even specified what "C" compiler they use, neither version!
Probable something on Linux!

I've used from a long time Visual C++ 6.0; but I don't have that many project in it.
Visual C++ 6 is not free!
As C compiler I've recently found Pelles C. Look good from what I've saw...
